BollywoodINDIES is an Independent online script and film festival that celebrates the free spirit of indie filmmakers. This festival, still in its formative stages will provide indie filmmakers with a platform that stands in solidarity with the idea that the future of the medium is far too valuable to be left in the hands of the Big Studios , the corporate Film houses and the professionals.

INDIE filmmakers remain unsung of; unseen, unheard and often unawarded for their contribution; But, they are the brave ones who show the way into the future, giving direction to the mainstream which always follows two steps behind.. The INDIE filmmakers work tirelessly towards furthering the art form, investing their time, effort and resources to take that next step. They do not weigh themselves down by commercial consideration or by the mechanics of ‘Returns on Investment’ and “profitability”.
Sneak Peek into the future
As the big studios travel down the well-trodden path, following what makes good business sense and money, the INDIES test the waters of hitherto unknown streams. They are the ones who seek out the pulse of the audience and foresee their next craving, the next big thing. They have their sights set on future trends in every single aspect of the art, craft and the business of filmmaking. What is experimented and explored by the INDIE filmmakers today, provide the baseline for the corporations to later commercialize. By then, INDIE trailblazers have moved forward to the next frontier.
