In a world where 1% of the population owns almost all of the wealth, we imagine a scenario where one person owns and controls the entire world. This is the journey of Joseph, a ruthless businessman, to becoming the puppeteer who holds the strings, that make the entire world dance to his tune. Starting from humble beginnings, Joseph works his way to the top manipulating everything and around him to his advantage. A ruthless manipulator, Joseph uses all the tricks in the trade to assert control over people, blackmailing them or enticing them with offers they cannot refuse. As Joseph cruises from one industry to other, conquering the world markets in that industry and even creating new industries that did not exist before, he increases his net worth exponentially to a point where the money is no longer relevant. He then shifts his focus to grabbing power and controlling the governments that run the world.

Starting with real estate the film specifically mentions industries like finance, healthcare, politics, drugs etc. that are manipulated to create unethical profits at the cost of human lives. As the film follows the journey of Joseph from having a net worth of 2000 dollars to the richest person in the world who controls the most powerful countries, we have a parallel track of his relationship with his girlfriend. Despite all his power and money, he is unable to convince his girlfriend to stay back with him when he needs her the most. It is an introspection into his true achievements.
The Taub brothers create a parallel world for Joseph, placing him in dilapidated buildings, deserted apartment complexes and other isolated places to show that it is quite lonely at the top.
