In a world where ‘Selected Milk’ wishes to awe its consumers with its taste and its SPMAs, and decides to make each customer walk home with two bricks of the product, a group of strange companions on a bus trip find themselves push starting the 21st century in the middle of nowhere, one starless night, some place in the southern hemisphere. A poetic journey that takes you on a trip across the sprawling mind of an artist, offering terrific sights and sounds of diverse art forms along the road, is how one should greet the ‘Selected Milk Added from Reconstituted Milk Powder’.

‘Selected Milk Added from Reconstituted Milk Powder whole pasteurized Homogenized–Raw’ is an experimental film by Directors Jose Luis Ducid, Alfonso Camarero and Maria Meseguer. A collaboration of Multidisciplinary artists, the film is a wholesome treat that includes gems from poetry, photography, music and narration and sound design. Taking inspiration from, and addressing head on, the images we see around us, ranging from the mundane to the significant, the film looks at everything through its sarcasm tinted glasses. Using a single photograph as the visual anchor for each chapter, the film transports the viewer into the midst of the situation with a powerful narration and supporting music. This gives the viewer the freedom to create his own visuals for the scene. An experimental exercise, the visual treatment adds to the poetic expression woven around the brand ‘selected milk’ and its marketing exercise.
